It's my BIRTHDAY. hurray , yippie, whatever....
Well today its official, I am a old fart..... , what am I to do with myself today??... want everything to be special but hmmmm I am so not special anymore I guess, anyway today is just another damn day ohhhhh wait its the end of this so called year, hopefully next year will be a better year. make a wish or whatever you do at the ending of a year, oh I remember you make resolutions you never keep so what are they, c'mon tell me what you wished for...

The group looked at how comprehensive the laws are and how severe penalties are for people convicted of cruelty. Idaho, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi and North Dakota were named the five worst states. Illinois was ranked first on the list, with Maine, California, Michigan and Oregon rounding out the top five.

This is another part of the series here I been searching about Idaho, for a quick stat and another blog just about the laws and integrity is Idaho ranked 6th worst state in the union, nice to know the integrity of law but this blog is about Food and the Housing cost. so get prepaired for something sad and really shocking, because this is your private little Idaho.
U.S. Department of Agriculture reports as follows....
-2002-04, Idaho saw food insecurity increase from 13.0% to 14.6%, This increase moved Idaho from the state with the 18th worst rate of food insecurity during the 1996-98 period to the 8th worst during 2002-2004.
-Brandeis University, Center on Hunger and Poverty, August 2002, ranked Idaho sixth worst hunger state in the country.
-US Census and the Federal Register showed the 2003-4 poverty rate in Idaho was 10%, The child poverty rate in Idaho is 14.9%, The national average in 2004 was 12.7%, The poverty line for a family of four is about $18,244 per year for income.
-A minimum wage worker earns about $11,000 per year. In 1996, the most recent year for which these figures are available, 46% of all jobs in Idaho paid less than the $9.22 needed for a single adult in 1996. The same year, 74% paid less than the $14.42 needed for an adult with two children. 20% of Idaho’s households don’t make the $20,534 ($9.87 per hour) per year needed to rent a two-bedroom house. In Ada and Canyon counties, the necessary income is $23,200 per year. (University of Washington Job Gap Study)
-A newer study found that in 2003, 28% of Idaho renters don’t make the $10.13 per hour ($19,449.60) per year needed to pay rent and utilities for a two-bedroom apartment. This is an increase of 26 cents per hour from 2002. Idaho renters must earn at least $11.20 per hour to earn enough for a two-bedroom apartment. This means that on average in Idaho minimum-wage workers must work 87 hours a week at $5.15 per hour to pay the rent. In Ada and Canyon counties, it is 98 hours per week; Bannock is 76 hours; Nez Perce is 79 hours. Madison County has the lowest rents and requires an average of 69 hours; Blaine County is highest at 119 hours. (Boise Neighborhood Housing Services and National Low Income Housing Coalition 2004)
-20.7% of Idahoans (269,000 people) have no health insurance, compared to the national average of 17.6%. (U.S. Census)

-A 2002 University of Utah study found that 47% of the former welfare recipients interviewed lived below the federal poverty line even after 20 months off welfare. In 2001, the poverty level for a single mother and one child was an income of $12,207 per year. Researchers also found that 20% of respondents lived below half the poverty level, or had an income of $6,096 per year. Respondents with jobs earned an average of $7.96 per hour or $16,557 per year for full-time work. (Salt Lake Tribune)
-In 2000, a living wage in Idaho was calculated to be $10.11 per hour ($21,037 per year) for a single adult. For a single adult with one child it was $12.82 ($26,672). SomePoint, Idunno
Yes me and the wife and baby K are here in Sandpoint, We drove up here to delivery xmas presents from baby K to my family who never leaves, I can see why, snow is about 20 inches here and the roads are shit.
Anyway we made it and now we will head back to get back to normal, it is nice to see the old stopping grounds, and learn that yet another friend has past away from alcoholism, other than that its still the same old town..
Glad to visit but this snow shit, hehehehe I remember it from the past, walking 2 miles in snow up to my balls just to get to the school bus, so glad thats not my life anymore, this snow shit is fun but its still shit hehehehe...

How to train the Mailman ???
Yes by golly need to train the mailman to quit walking across the lawn, for some reason all of them do it, we have a different one everyday it seems like and they all can't see the sidewalk which leads right to the mailbox so they cut across the yard and walk across the grass.
So how do you train them not too?? my idea is to put up a fence and have a really ugly dog with fangs sit on the grass hehehehe or I guess put up signs every 2 feet that says "keep off the fuckin grass you dumb ass stupid piece of shit" hey that just might work...

Nobody will answer about Idaho so I will...
Okay this is what I know and been researching stuff plus I lived in Idaho for long long time... I want the best for my family and Idaho uhhhh well not on my list but if we do live there then you will have to put up with me if you like it or not so get use to it...
Schools , ohhhh my a few years back I read Idaho as a whole ranked number 49 out of 50 states, yes one state was worse but then the next year ranked somewhere around 30 something and Idaho jump to like 48 hehehehe here is what I found out from schooldigger.com about Lewiston.
Schools are ranked by reading and math ISAT scores combined.
Lewsiton ranked #66 out of 164 cities....
now out of 325 elementry schools in Idaho , lewiston is ranked as follows
McSorley - 121
Centennial -136
McGhee - 141
Webster - 144
Whitman - 188
Orchards - 192
Camelot - 203
This shows me that lewiston is all mixed up, I thought they would be close since its the same district but what a jump, what school will my baby go to, I will for sure pick the top one even if I drive her myself... Of the top 3 which are are all tied for #1 was Whitebirb of the grangeville joint district.. WTF thats just over the hill from lewiston and they are the top in state hehehehe WTF....
Clarkston ranked #214 out of 298 cities....
now out of 1058 elementry schools in Wa. , Clarkston is ranked as follows
Grantham - 545
Highland - 937
Parkway - 972
Now this hehehehehe wow is like night and day, why is grantham so much better? dunno but its like got the smart kids or better teachers for sure or something, number 1 in state was Challenge Elementary is Mountlake Terrace, WTF... where is this place? , they got smart kids or uhhh well the best school in Washington.. Spokane is wilson elementary at Number 3
Okay now for some other facts.... this is not good but will post more here later, let the schools soak into your head and next blog will be about the laws , police and why Idaho is ranked high for child rape and number 3 for domestic violence which leads to some deaths among the rest of the USA, also number 2 for worst drivers and top 5 of the worst for animal cruelity and hmmm what else can I dig up, ohhhh about the police and Idaho law I did say at first but you will hear how hehehehe well just wait for the next blog because you will not like it, they be some of the child and domestic stats hehehehe yeah give a man a badge and he can beat his wife hehehehehe well for now its just the schools the rest and best for last... ttfn..

Pink Hangers, on my side of the closet WTF
Okay its been awhile since I blogged, thats because my wife has been on a binge blog thingee and its more fun to see her having fun, really she has been all stressed out and its the same for me, this time of year always gets me down, Lets hope for a better new year, BTW what is everyone doing on my birthday? yes its 12/31 I will be uhhhhhh forty something again.....
Ohhhh the pink hangers, noticed the wife side has blue pink white and I got pink well just found one so guess its not as bad, just had to blog about something, had lots of fun with baby k and the tree, when we were puttin up the orniaments, gave one to the little one and she ran off to her room with it, maybe she thinks this tree is a toy for her, wow time to eat ..... see ya
